Our Safeguarding Staff

At Polruan Primary Academy, ensuring the safeguarding of all members of our school community is given the highest priority. As a member of Bridge Schools, we follow the Trust’s safeguarding policy. Please see our Safeguarding Policy page for more information on our working practices and description of following roles.

At Polruan Primary Academy, the context of the school means that staff training considers safeguarding children in isolated coastal villages and areas, understanding concerns that may be raised right from pre-school age and involves working very closely with other agencies, particularly the police and housing. Staff are vigilant when visitors arrive and of security measures.
